As I've pointed out before, Muslims need to step it up and look at themselves to understand why they are demonized by most of the world.
One of the main reasons they don't step up is because most Muslim leaders would rather blame Israel or America than point the finger at the crazy shit they do to themselves.
And with all the crazy shit Israel and the U.S. does, it's an easy scapegoat.
Apparently the president of Egypt, Hosni Mubarak reads Start Snitching because he went and said the same thing.
In a speech to Muslim clerics and senior officials Mubarak said,
- "Shouldn't we Muslims shoulder part of the responsibility of these wrong ideas about Islam? Have we fulfilled our duty in correcting the image of Islam and the Muslims? What did we do to face a terrorism that wears Islam's cloak and targets the lives of the people?"
It must be infectious, because Muslim groups have called for the police to arrest Muslims regardless of Ramadan celebrations.
Hosni Mubarak, for telling the truth that about a billion people don't want to hear, you are the Snitch of the Week.
Just step up your security.
